22 Jul FESTA DELLE PENNE – A DAY-LONG DREAM
Last 10th of July, the beautiful Festa delle Penne took place, attended by all school and city authorities, including the Mayor, Carabinieri, Metalcastello, and the Lions Association.
In the photos, capturing some of the event’s highlights, we see the stage with the authorities, including School Principal Dr. Luisa Macario and Mayor Giuseppe Nanni, the audience of students, all the new graduates from various fields, and Stefano Scutigliani, CEO of Metalcastello and President of the Machinery Sector of Confindustria Emilia, awarding two Mechatronics Technicians.
For the occasion, the school principal had the phrase ‘I have a dream’ engraved on the pens, cited by Martin Luther King in his famous speech delivered on August 28, 1963, in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington at the end of the civil rights march known as the ‘March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom’ during President Kennedy’s administration.
A message full of positivity and hope that will accompany these young people into the future.
