A 1975 DEMM MOPED IS REBORN THANKS TO THE STUDENTS OF MONTESSORI-DA VINCI

Metalcastello is proud to announce that it has been a partner of the project of conservative restoration of the moped Demm, model Smily 3 marches, dated 1975, by the students of the Institute of Higher Education Montessori-Da Vinci of Porretta Terme, coordinated by Professor Teylor Pucci, Professor of Mechanical Discipline, Mechatronics and Mechanical Technical Drawing.

The work was developed over ten lessons, with a first theoretical approach followed by the analysis of the original technical and iconographic documentation.
Then the guys proceeded with the disassembly of the vehicle, the analysis of the components, the repair and the final assembly.
"All", explains Professor Pucci, "respecting the originality of the medium, also with regard to painting and chrome".

Saturday, May 21 at the Montessori-Da Vinci Institute will arrive the commissioners delegates ASI (Automotoclub Historical Italian) to certify the Targa Oro, document certifying characteristics and degree of conservation of a historic vehicle according to the rules of the International Technical Code FIVA.
The vehicle, donated by the Demm Museum of Porretta Terme, will then be exposed in the premises of the institute.
