Metalcastello presents the book “Metalcastello University” in order to celebrate 65 years of success


On December 15th, in the setting of Palazzo Malvezzi, Metalcastello held a press conference for the launch of the book “Metalcastello University” dedicated to the successful story of the company, leader in the world for mechanical transmission gears. The book has been written by the CEO Stefano Scutigliani and the professional journalist Marco Tarozzi and it has been edited by the publishing house Pendragon.

Virgino Merola, the Major of the Metropolitan City of Bologna and author of the preface of the book, attended the press conference and commented: “This publication talks about one of the best economic realities of our area. I really care about this area because, as I know its beauty, I also see its difficulties: for work, mobility, services "– and continues –"I want to reassure the company and its employees that the commitment of the Institutions towards the Apennines is also alive: in trying to maintain the manufacturing industry where historically it has been established, in enhancing its environmental, landscaping, cultural and gastronomic characteristics creating the conditions for the development of a quality tourism, for improving the connections of this territory ".

The CEO Stefano Scutigliani said: “This book illustrates Metalcastello through the testimony to people who contributed to make it a solid and famous reality, all around the world”- and continues- “The secret of our success is a vision founded over moral values deeply rooted in the three generations of women and men who have succeeded over these 65 years and which enabled us to arise over a highly competitive global market”.
