Last Sunday, Metalcastello awarded with four scholarships the most deserving students of the “Maria Montessori - Leonardo da Vinci” Technical Institute: Ghebreigziabihei Samuel, Raschi Cristian, Morandi Nicola and Beneventi Carlotta. The event saw the participation of some local authorities and institutions, including: Elena Gaggioli, in representation of Giuseppe Nanni, Mayor of Alto Rene Terme Area; Antonio Gaggioli, in representation of Castel di Casio’s mayor Mauro Brunetti; Dr. Rossella Fabbri, Dean of the Technical Institute “Maria Montessori - Leonardo da Vinci”, Giovanni Casanova, President of the Alumni Association of the Technical Institute “Maria Montessori - Leonardo da Vinci”.
The scholarships have the objective of honoring the memory of all the people who contribute to build the Metalcastello company, with their technical and human capacities, courage and effort; in particular the two founders, Ettore Bettocchi and Mario Pierotti.
It’s not the first time that Metalcastello, based in Castel di Casio area, demonstrates its support to local communities, especially for what concerns recruitment and education, with the intent of creating new working places, encouraging young residents not to leave the area, and, at the same time, trying to attract people from the city to keep the territory constantly active.
