THE CEO OF METALCASTELLO, STEFANO SCUTIGLIANI, IS THE NEW PRESIDENT OF THE MACHINERY SECTOR OF CONFINDUSTRIA EMILIA
14.06.2022
The AGM of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro approved new rules of governance that will guide the twenty supply chains that make up the association for the four-year period 2022-2026. An important recognition also arrived for the Chief Executive Officer of Metalcastello, Stefano Scutigliani, who was appointed President of the Machinery Sector, the largest in terms of affiliates and turnover, as well as having the largest number of Deputy Delegates (8).
“It's a great honour", Scutigliani comments,“because it means that our work is appreciated and I am very proud of that. I say "our work" because this appointment is not so much a personal recognition as one for our company, which has worked well in the interest of the local area and that of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro, making its know-how available to strengthen the industrial fabric even more”.
“I have been an assistant counsellor of Confindustria for the last four years", continues the CEO of Metalcastello,“and this experience will certainly help me face the challenges that await us. Organisation by supply chains is an innovative approach for Italy, but it is the right way to go because no one can be omniscient, though one must be aware that every field of industry has its own problems. It is an innovative way to be help each other and the community”.
As mentioned previously, the new president Scutigliani will have all of eight Deputy Delegates to assist him.
“I have to thank them one by one: Mauro Cominoli, Paolo Covezzi, Laura Ferretti, Maria Cecilia La Manna, Silvia Pecorari, Guido Rossi, Elisa Sarti and Nicola Vaccari. We will be a compact and heterogeneous team, which will certainly know how to collaborate with the other supply chains, whose presidents are all first class in their sector. Lastly, a big thank you to the President of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro, Valter Caiumi, and to the director Tiziana Ferrari, who with their energy were able to involve and motivate the team”.
