MANAGEMENT METALCASTELLO PARTICIPATES AT ACADEMY INDUSTRY 4.0

The Management of Metalcastello is taking part in the first edition of Accademia Industria 4.0, the event held today and tomorrow at Porretta Terme (Bologna), conceived by Porsche Consulting and organised in collaboration with Fondazione Aldini Valeriani (F.A.V.), the Industrial Management School of Unindustria Bologna.

The aim of the event is to see what the strategic and operational impact of Industry 4.0 might be on a manufacturing company: by simulating a model factory, managers will learn how to use innovative logic and approaches, acquiring all of the elements to start a process of transformation in their own companies.

The experiment is designed to meet the needs of a typical Italian manufacturing company, a sector where the competitive pressure is prompting firms to create products that are more and more personalised, of a higher quality and with shorter life cycles, resulting in increased operating complexity and an erosion of profits.
